Returned home and found a lot of spiders

After two weeks of sun-soaked adventures and blissful

relaxation, the Hassan family eagerly returned to their home, anticipating the comfort of familiar surroundings. Little did they know, their once-cozy sanctuary had been overtaken by an eight-legged army.

As soon as the front door creaked open, a thick, silvery web stretched across the entryway, glistening under the faint porch light. Amal, the youngest of the family, let out a squeal of both fascination and fear. “It’s like a haunted house!” she exclaimed.

Stepping cautiously into the hallway, they were met with a scene straight out of a nature documentary. Spindly webs draped across corners, furniture, and even the ceiling fan. Tiny black dots—the spiders themselves—darted across the walls and floors as if startled by the sudden intrusion.

“How did this happen?” Farah, the mother, wondered aloud, holding a suitcase protectively in front of her. Her husband, Khalid, grabbed a broom from the closet, determined to reclaim their home.

The family sprang into action, their laughter and shrieks echoing through the house as they tackled the unexpected infestation. Amal and her older brother, Tariq, armed themselves with feather dusters and spray bottles, pretending they were spider hunters on a daring mission. Even Farah, who usually avoided insects at all costs, rolled up her sleeves and joined the effort.

Hours later, the webs were cleared, the spiders relocated to the garden, and the house restored to its usual state. Exhausted but victorious, the family sat together in the living room, sipping tea and recounting their heroic battle.

“Next time,” Khalid said with a chuckle, “we’ll make sure to leave the windows closed before going on vacation.”
